Longing for a "Sunburn"

You know it's finals week when:
  • you get sick for no reason
  • nature and being a female was never so difficult this month
  • allergies and heavy pollen counts decide to make an example out of you
  • suddenly you re-discover the music you haven't listened to since you were a sophomore in high school
  • all the sudden a tragedy happens in the family and your mom needs to leave you with the kids for two days
  • it's somebody in your family's birthday, or some important event is scheduled around the time you should be studying
  • final papers get in the way of studying.....with topics such as how to save the world from evils. Ahh being a Global Affairs major...
I'm pretty sure once my last final lets up:
  • I will be miraculously healed of my cold; I will feel AWESOME 24/7
  • Being a female will be fun again
  • The heavy pollen will suddenly find a new victim
  • I will forget about the music I used to listen to and wonder what I used to listen to
  • Nothing will be going on in my family
  • It won't be anyone's birthday....and no important event will come around
  • I will not have a final paper asking me to solve worldly evils in a few pages

What to do, what to do with my life once all this business of finals is over? Well, that's what my pen pal Olivia and I will decide over a lovely picnic soon.

I have a couple things I think would make an ideal summer:
  1. get a JOB! Needdddd $$$
  2. heal my back through physical therapy and swimming; get my body athletic and kickin' again
  3. Read my Microeconomics book I got...and study it for next semester
  4. Read Mere Christianity and something by St. Ignacious
  5. Work on a novel
  6. apply for more internships (ew)
  7. figure out what I want to do with my studies in college.....bleh
  8. go to the beach and have fun
So just now, I screamed because a moth just dropped on a paper near me. I feel like a fool.

Today I celebrate my baby brother Carlos' birthday. Happy birthday Chuchu!

Alrighty, it's time for me to get back to working on my paper....finals cramming awaits me!
