I will have completed my first "week" of being home alone!! Yikes.
As the oldest of 7 kids, that's a big accomplishment. I NEVER come home to an empty silent dark house at night. I can probably count the number of times that has happened. Which is about 6 after this week... and this one time I remember coming home on a Friday to find that my family was all out.
After being gone since Monday, my grandparents come home tonight! I'm excited. I won't see them or my cousins who are coming as well, but I will welcome them with the clean laundry and sheets that will be ready for them when they arrive.
Last night was my lovely co-worker Kaego's birthday!!! She turned the big 2-1. Such a big girl. Besides the annoying drunk people at Cafe Asia, I would say that the night was a success. Kaego wore her Birthday Princess banner and we all had our cake, sang and ate it too. At work that morning, our co-worker Allie and I gave her an amazing celebration before camp started and we even now have "best-friends-forever" rings together since that celebration. It was a good night, and we dressed in our outfits one of our kids "bought us." Thank you Daniel. Allie and I also payed for the birthday dinner with Sophie's tip. Thank you Sophie. I love it when I get tips from my kids.
Well, I need to go pack and get ready to leave. Tonight I'm celebrating my boo-boo's birthday dinner with his familia back home in VA, and the next morning we're heading out to VA beach for the day. Yahhhhhoooo! I can't find my swimsuit anywhere here in MD. I do hope it's in VA. I guess I'll find out.
